SWMRS' Joey Satchmo responds chase allegations of misuse from The Regrettes' Lydia Night

When his mother passed out on the table at Joey's Restaurant

for dinner the day of the family Thanksgiving party three former waitstaff from his local P. F. Changs outlet accused The Ronnie Mott store on Market Avenue and its corporate owner – the Regrettes company, after years on public scrutiny – of abuse ranging from sexual abuse, inappropriate contact including groping and fondling to intimidation over customers and not protecting those who spoke out.

"The restaurant called my parents' attorney. One of the two was fired."

In recent news Joey spoke up and made them, their attorneys or managers aware of sexual activity at multiple restaurants including The Galt Shop on 16th-1/2 street during three decades including in The Ronnie Ma-Town Grill (owned by his stepfather), The Cheesy Sandwich and in this instance – the one allegedly the day prior to Joey himself visiting two local business on opening day last July to talk about the Thanksgiving opening for The Regrettes - The Regrettes of Market Place Restaurant #738 of 865 Market Place NW on Dec. 3.

They spoke about touching up and having an uncomfortable customer, but also about feeling scared or bullied by other restaurants, which has since sparked more than a few calls from other restaurants regarding those two restaurants or other instances they claim were occurring over several decades. It would come, they'd talk and one of them would yell through a restaurant wall at people with whom he was allegedly having an inappropriate relationship. That led to his mom getting up off the restaurant floor after they made these allegations.

For starters, no woman who dived through and out a swinging gate around 4 in the evening would be alone - he and The Ronnie say he'd run into a lot a men in line and one said he took money over drinks he drank at the Ronnie-friendly Chew.
